How to Get Started
Getting started with Bayside Literacy Lab is simple and stress-free. From your first enquiry to your child’s first session, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Our process ensures we understand your child’s unique needs and tailor support to help them become a confident, capable reader and speller.
Book an Enquiry Call
Start by sending us an enquiry to share your child’s needs and any concerns you have. We’ll get back to you within 24 hours to discuss how we can support your child’s literacy journey and answer any questions you may have.
Book an Assessment
A diagnostic literacy assessment is the first step in understanding your child’s current abilities. It helps us identify areas of strength and pinpoint specific gaps that might be affecting reading and spelling progress. This ensures we tailor our approach to best suit your child.
Choose Your Service
Once the assessment is complete, you can decide whether one or two sessions per week is the best fit for your child’s needs and schedule. All lessons are one-to-one, lasting 50 minutes, and are designed to keep your child engaged and progressing confidently.

Together, we’ll find a session time that works for your family. With everything in place, your child can begin personalised literacy sessions focused on building skills, confidence, and a love of learning.
